Before advertising with Google, it is important that you know the basics of Google AdWords. It is an undeniable fact that Google played a major role in the web today and Google AdWords has bring in billions of dollars to Google each year. But despite that, not all advertisers profit from Google AdWords.
To make sure that you are successful in your endeavour with Google AdWords, you do not have to bid on expensive keywords. All you need is some market research so that you will be able to identify the right niche keywords to match your website. Here are a few Google AdWords tips that you can put into use.
Read About Google AdWords Tips And More…
Always Include Keywords
Keywords are important, so make sure that it’s there in your ads. An average person glance through their Google search results very quickly, so you must place in your keywords strategically to grab their attention. Otherwise, your ad will be missed and lose a chance for sale. You must also make the ads appealing and compelling. It can be difficult to create compelling ads on such a short space. Make the most out of your ads by placing your keywords in them, or else your time and effort are wasted.
Tips on Bidding Strategy: High To Low
Lets take a look at how Google ranks your ads. Your ads are ranked according to your bid price and your click through number (Click Through Rate or CTR). CTR is the total clicks your ad receives over a period of time. Being new to AdWords, your quality score is definitely low, so to be on the first page is more difficult . Thus, you should start bidding a little higher to get visibility. Bidding higher gives you initial exposure your ads need. When your CTR is a higher, then you can slowly lower your bid price. Ultimately, the goal is then to keep your ad on the first page with the lowest bid price possible.
Low to High Bidding Strategy
Another method of bidding is by starting with low bids. This is very useful for keywords that aren’t so competitive or popular. If your budget is limited, you can also use this method. You begin by bidding low and then slowly increasing your bid price until you land on the first page. Again, you must try to land your ads on the first page with the lowest bid possible.
Make Use of Negative Keywords
Negative keywords are used in order to prevent your ads from showing up in searches that are unrelated. You have a specific audience to target and you want to make sure that your ad gets to them and no others. If you don’t use the negative keywords function, your ad could appear on the wrong place and wrong people. For example, you might be selling a dog collar and “collar” is your keyword. When a searcher type in the word “collar” into the search engine, he may not be looking for dog collar. He may own a cat and looking for a cat collar. This is where you used the negative keywords, add “cat” into the list and your ad would not appear. You must use the negative keywords to target your ads. This helps you target the necessary audience only, and helps increase your CTR more.
Ad Testing
Testing your ads is important, but you don’t have to do much because Google AdWords can test your ads for you. By placing in two different ads in each AdGroup, Google AdWords then alternately displays the ads in search results. After running your ads for some time, based on the CTR results of each ad, you can choose which ad to use. As you continue to test different ads, eventually, you will find the best performing ad.
Being the biggest search engine in the entire world, Google has millions of ads placed everyday. If you want to make sure that your Google AdWords campaign is successful, all you need to do is to know what is important. Follow these tips and continue to improve your knowledge Google AdWords.

There are many tips available to internet marketers in order to plan their strategy for their program to work effectively. One such way is to start with video promotion that makes use of streaming screen-captured videos to better the interaction with site visitors. This is easy for anyone to do with the Camtasia. When your site visitors see what you want to show it may increase your online sales instantly. If you can show the visitors to your website how to use a service they will trust you more.
There are 3 common steps to create a video to market an affiliate marketing program
1. Camtasia Video can record your desktop very easily.
2. Upload your streaming screen-captured video to your website. Videos are easy to understand but keep the videos short.
3. Promoting your video should be done rather smart and hard. Do not market your video of the affiliate marketing program on just any web site. An effective way to promote your video review on a website that has a inherent pagerank. You may want to market the site where you uploaded your Camtasia video of the program. Article Marketing For Beginners
October 22, 2009 by Ben Janke
When I first started my online business, I had no idea how to get traffic to my website. After building the site, I went ahead and put it up on the Internet waiting for the flood of Buyers to come in. What I found was that nobody came to my grand opening. At that time, I had never heard about article submission sites or article marketing~It was a quiet day when we set up our website and found there to be zero traffic waiting to beat down our doors. It was then a friend told me about article marketing and said I needed to read some article submission site reviews and learn about article marketing}. We put up our website with the desire to somehow get traffic, but had no idea how to go about it.
I’m sure that we were not alone in our immaturity as new online business people looking to get cash. Beginners find out quick that there needs to be traffic in order for there to be success and they’ll need to know how to get it. You need to find ways to promote your Website, so start by doing a keyword search with the phrases “article marketing” and “traffic generation”. The information you find will get you off to a good start driving traffic to your new site.
Promoting yourself cheaply and effectively can be done by article marketing. You don’t need to have experience in article writing, these tips will help you write a good article quickly.
Do a web search on the product you want to promote and do a little research. Go to forums or ezine articles and research a few articles on your topic. Then, after reading several articles and websites over the subject, put those articles into your own words. You’ll find that the more you do this, the better and quicker you’ll be.
Now, take the title you found when you did a key word search and create a new title. Using the points from the article, go ahead and begin writing in your own words about the product or service you want to put in your article. You know what it is that you are selling, so go ahead and be a little creative making sure to use the key words that will help when people are searching for that on the internet.
Now that your first article is written, it’s time to get it distributed to hundreds of other places. To do this use a good article directory. These are some good places to start. They are articledashboard.com, goarticles.com, ezinearticles.com, articlesbase.com. The more directories you submit your article to, the more traffic will be generated to your site.
A term I learned quickly in my research was search engine optimization or SEO. As stated earlier, make sure your Title has your keywords in it. This will help you site climb up the search egnines faster
The quicker you get started with article marketing, the quicker you’ll see results. Some people have great results only writing and sumbitting a couple articles per week. Some do more for faster results. It’s up to you how much or how little you write, but the more you do, the more you’ll benefit from article marketing.
3 Steps To Optimize Blog Post
October 22, 2009 by Ben Janke
For many blog owners, they fail to capitalize on search engine traffic because they do not understand how important SEO optimizing their blog is. This is one reason you’ll see so many bloggers fail to earn money online.
It doesn’t take a SEO guru to optimize your blog. It can be done in three simple steps. By doing these three steps all the time, you can increase visitors which may make the difference in a blog that makes the owner virtually no income or a blog that is an instrument for additional income.
Follow the advice below to optimize every post you upload and take advantage of free traffic from search engines.
To begin with, you should make sure your blog post addresses are SEO friendly. With free blogs like Blogger, this is automatically done for you. If you’re a WordPress user, then you’ll need to set your url structure so that the code produces search engine optimized url’s when you create a post.
All you have to do in WordPress is to click on the Permalinks tab, and click the radio button along side the Custom field. Then you’ll put a percentage sign followed by the words Postname. {Immediately after the words postname, Now} add another percentage sign. Now all your blog post will have search engine optimized addresses.
The best tip to optimizing your blog is to put your main keyword in the Title. If you’re blogging about earn money easy, then make these keywords the Title of your blog. What you don’t want to do is put unrelated keywords in your Title. If your name is John and you have a blog named Johns Dog Blog, then you’ll rank higher than if you name it something totally unrelated.
Your next step is to put your keywords in the Post’s title. If you’re targeting blog readers to read your post about online auctions to to make extra money, then put the keywords in the post title. Forget about using non relevant titles like How I Make Money With Auctions. Doing this prevents the search engine bots from figuring out what your post is about and prevents search engine users from finding your blog post. If you’re blog is monetized with Adsense, this tip will increase traffic while showing the highest paying ads for an increase in the pay per click you receive.
Implementing these 3 simple tips will be letting the Search Engines understand what your post is about. By making it easy easy for the search engines to determine what your post is about, the search engines will rank your post higher than a non-optimized blog.
Building links to each of your optimized post is the last step in dominating the search engine rankings with your blog post. Ahh, but link building is a whole nother article that has to be saved for later. But you need to learn how to optimize your blog before tackling link building.
Learn It Free from Anik Singal
October 8, 2009 by Ben Janke
I’ve learned a heck of a lot about online marketing without any cost. One of the most important things that I can do now, that I didn’t know how to do when I was starting is to locate useful, accurate information without any cost. I used to be like most newcomers to Internet marketing who don’t even know how to find a free course about how to start an Internet business.
Over the years, I’ve gradually shifted my business model from retailing (which I still do) to affiliate marketing. I realize that in much of that time period I wasted a lot of money. Now (a little late) I know that there are placed where there are valuable resources about how to become an affiliate marketer without any cost at all. And that free information is much more valuable than almost any of the magic bullet product I bought.
I was reminded of all of that this morning. I received an email from Anik Singal, one of my own gurus. Singal is about to release his flagship, college level, newly overhauled affiliate learning resource, Affiliate Classroom 2. This morning he released a new report that exemplifies how the best will often share what they know, and all you have to do is ask for it.
The zero cost report, which is for affiliate marketing businesses is crunched into a mere 55 pages, but those pages are packed with “read and apply” tips that are of value even to old hands like me. I’m going to share a few of the details of the report, even though I’m not sure that I’m supposed to.
After some preliminary background information, Singal uses a case study approach. He examines three sites that represent the basic approaches to affiliate marketing: a simple opt-in site, a blog site and a product review website. Each of these sites had one major problem. They weren’t earning any money (or not enough). Sound familiar?
In the report, Singal breaks apart each of the sites for the owners (and for us) and makes specific, actionable recommendations for turning them into money machines–okay, not million dollar a month money machines but at least profitable business websites. As I was reading, I thought over and over, “I need to do that to my ’such-and-such’ site! Why didn’t I notice that before?” And, as soon as I’m finished writing this, I’m off to change a few things about my own already profitable sites.
I suspect that once the soon to launch Affiliate Classroom 2 sells out, he will take down the report. I don’t expect selling out is going to take very long. If he does remove it, I’ll share a few of his specific insights at a later time.
You may be interested in knowing that Anik Singal was recently named one of Business Week Magazine’s four “young entrepreneurs of 2008.” Not a bad recommendation for a mentor, is it?
Be a Better Affiliate Marketer
October 4, 2009 by Ben Janke

Affiliate or associate marketing is often a challenging enterprise. There is much more to learn than most of us anticipated when we first started. The learning curve is too steep for some, and many simply drop out.
If you’re reading this, I hope that you are one of those select few who will stay committed over the long haul, constantly updating your knowledge base and applying what you learn by acting upon that knowledge. The most common problem among failed affiliate marketers is buying magic, secret plans and not implementing them to see if they actually work as promised. Some are no more than buyers; they don’t even read the books they buy.
There are two resources for affiliate marketers that I include in my recommendations. One has to do with using a marketing approach using blog entries, not just your blogs and websites but the blogs of many other people. This system is a very unique membership site called My Article Network. Here I’m going to focus upon one use to which an affiliate marketer can put it, although the previous link will deliver you to a lengthier description of how the entire system works and may benefit you.
If you write an article for distribution via one or more article directories, your link is limited to the author’s resource box, usually placed at the bottom of the content. In the new method of article marketing, you can use the much more effective contextual linking, that is placing your links directly within the content of the article, where they are far more likely to deliver targeted traffic to your vendor’s site. Most of the major article directories will not allow you to use affiliate links in your own resource box. However, this new, vastly improved approach allow you to use affiliate links that will go directly to the vendor, without having to send your hard-won traffic to your own site first. You can check it out for yourself by visiting this remarkable article marketing system that directly submits unique versions of your articles to blogs and websites in your niche from its list of over 10,000 sites anxious to receive content.
The other resource is a complete educational system set up exclusively for affiliate marketers who are owners of various size businesses as well as those preparing for a career in affiliate management. This is a completely revamped reissue of Anik Singal’s famous AffiliateClassroom. Singal, who was named as one of four Business Week Magazine’s young entrepreneurs of 2008, has spent two years, along with his partner, revamping the critically acclaimed program to make it even more expansive and comprehensive. I strongly urge you to sign up for the complete information before all the spaces are taken. No joke, this will fill very quickly.
As I write this, the product has not yet launched, so all you can do is sign up on the squeeze page to be continually updated. Depending upon when you read this article, it is possible that it will have already sold out. Check to see if they have established a waiting list. If so, sign up and hope that a space for you opens.
Anticipating a question that I would ask, yes, both of these have affiliate programs, but you can’t use your own affiliate links to purchase either membership. You must sign up for both prior to gaining access to the affiliate programs.
