Even in 3rd world countries. 1 Billion users?<br /> Twitter users will use more consumer friendly twitter tools.<br /> Status updates will be available across all open social media sites. Facebook, Yahoo, MySpace, and more.<br /> We will laugh at the past when we had to go to each social media site update.<br /> Twitter will be the dominant social media site that plugs in to all others.<br /> Social graphs will be open source and available for others to see. Integration of contacts and groups.<br /> Twitter will be an ideal place to gain a quality reputation for your business.<br /> Twitter will replace SMS because just easier to use and easy to integrate with any phone.<br /> Twitter will replace chat or integrate with current chats.<br /> Location will be one of the most important status updates on twitter. You can share your location with friends.<br /> Private updates will be more important than they currently are.<br /> Public e-commerce public updates like a what you buy and what you shop for will be part of your updates via private only.<br /> Live reviews of place and products will be very important.<br /> Talking to shops and restaurants will become standard for coupon discounts and updates.<br /> Web will be just a fraction of mobile use.<br /> Dating with twitter updates will not be a huge market on twitter.<br /> Twitter will not display ads on their primary screen to keep users happy.<br /> There will be more devices that automatically publish to Twitter. Like scales, food consumption, and energy use.<br /> Corporations will have entire teams devoted to their Twitter accounts. ie customer service<br /> Hyper local news sites on twitter with geo-tagging features will become huge. User generated news.<br /> Google will not acquire Twitter, but will integrate deeply with Twitter.<br /> It will be open source private twitter accounts or programs running just for corporations.<br /> Google and Bing will dominate be tweaked search realm.<br /> Vertical twitter applications will start to appear like StockTweets. Real Estate, FOREX, Fitness, Fashion<br /> Twitter will continue to be mostly used outside of Twitter.com<br /> Twitter will do a better job at helping to regulate communities and maybe even politics.
